Who can become a member?

Full membership is open to all Insurance and Reinsurance Service Providers including (the Insurance.Reinsurance department or section of) Accountants, Solicitors and Lawyers and recruitment consultants.

Associate membership is open to all other members of the Insurance and Reinsurance industry not eligible for ordinary membership including companies offering ancillary services to the Industry.

What are the benefits of joining AirSP?

The Association of insurance and reinsurance Service Providers is and does what it says on the can. We are an association of businesses of all types and sizes, which have in common the fact that we provide services to the insurance and reinsurance markets, primarily but not exclusively in London.

We have amongst our membership accountants, actuaries, arbitrators, ‘authorisation’ (FCA and Lloyd’s) consultants, claims auditors and due diligence reviewers , claims management experts and consultants, communications and marketing experts, commutations experts, compliance and corporate governance specialists, expert witnesses, insolvency experts, lawyers, loss adjusters, motivational trainers, operations and project management consultants, risk consultants, run-off experts, tax advisers, and underwriting and insurance portfolio assessors. AirSP’s constitution and code of practice means that we are dedicated to providing the market with unparalleled service delivery. Our meetings include education to a high level in all the topics necessary to a market which is both developing and thriving as the 21st century progresses. We live in an era of unparalleled change: AirSP members help their clients through it and AirSP helps its members in that task.

We provide members with a personalised entry on our website with links to their own site as well as comprehensive information about their company services and key personnel. We create opportunities for using our website to post market related and specifically member focused articles, requests and notifications.

The networking at all our events gives our members – and their guests when appropriate - an opportunity to get to know, and form strategic alliances with, our other members to promote themselves and fellow members, whether separately or jointly.

We have a unique LinkedIn group which all members can join, whose reach is substantial throughout the market. Members can leverage their membership of AirSP to reach out, in well qualified company, to the people to whom they are marketing.

The cost of membership depends on size. AirSP’s annual membership fees are very competitive at:

  • up to 10 staff – £ 175;

  • 10 to 50 staff – £ 350;

  • Over 50 staff – £ 500.

The staffing figures relate not to the total staff of members’ business but only to those staff engaged in the insurance and reinsurance service provision.

For that membership fee members receive not only three seats at all AirSP’s seminars and functions but also all the other benefits of members, directed through the member’s dedicated contract with AirSP.

This is one of the best value memberships to be found in or around London reinsurance market. AirSP has grown steadily over the last few years. We look forward to welcoming more members as a continuing enhancement of both their own and all our members’ marketing reach and ability.

What is the cost of membership?

The Full membership cost is dependent upon the extent of the members' involvement in the Insurance Industry. Fees are very competitive with fee bands as follows:

  • Up to 10 staff - £175
  • 10 - 50 staff - £350
  • over 50 staff - £500

These figures relate to staff engaged in the Insurance and Reinsurance Industry.
