Alan Boyce AJB Consultancy
AJB Consultancy was formed in 2009 and is the reinsurance consultancy run by Alan Boyce.
It offers the following services:
- Commutation negotiation
- Reinsurance debt collection
- Inspections and expert witness testimony relating to reinsurance accounting and claims recovery issues
- Advice on exit strategies
Alan was previously the Chief Executive Officer of NRG Victory Reinsurance Limited and has over 35 years of experience working in the reinsurance industry. For the past 15 years he has specialised in the run-off sector and has experience of Part VII transfers, solvent schemes of arrangement and members’ voluntary liquidations.
He has travelled widely, meeting with regulators, insurers and reinsurers and their professional advisers in many parts of the world.
Since its formation AJB Consultancy has successfully negotiated a number of commutations, worked with Liquidators in closing down solvent companies in the UK and overseas and been involved in discussions about closing down a US Trust Fund.
Alan is looking to put together a small portfolio of non-executive directorships and would welcome discussions with any companies who consider his knowledge of the market would complement the skills of their existing Board members.
