ASP hosts dinner in Monte Carlo - September 2005 - 2005-09-23
On the Tuesday evening of the Monte Carlo Rendez Vous representatives from 11 ASP members hosted a dinner for invited guests selected from a variety of Overseas Companies. Oslo Re, Tapiola, Astra, WASA, Lafayette Re and PwC Bermuda all sent delegates.
The location was the once again the beautifully situated “Quai des Artistes” on the quayside overlooking the marina. The evening began at 8pm with a welcome drink in the bar and the warm dry weather meant that we were able to enjoy the excellent French cuisine and the very professional service “en terrace”.
This informal and relaxed occasion provided a good opportunity to socialise with colleagues and to make new business acquaintances. Many contact details were exchanged and arrangements made to make follow up meetings!
In addition to enjoying a wonderful evening we were able to introduce the Association in person to a number of European companies who had limited previous knowledge of ASP. The reactions were favourable and we intend to establish firm connections with these companies moving forward.
Thanks to all our guests for joining us – it was a pleasure to meet you all! Thanks also to our hosts for taking part and to the Restaurant for accommodating us so comfortably once again!
