London based insurer with an offshore legal and compliance function requires a qualified solicitor or barrister to provide in-house expertise on all legal matters (legal cost caps, legal retainers etc). Ideally you will come from insurance / captives / financial institutions background as you will be expected to provide assistance to the CEO on various matters, including: business development activities, compliance strategy, securities and insurance law, joint ventures and M&A’s, contract law, change management and high level negotiation. It is essential that you are up to speed with regard to current requirements and regulations. A genuine opportunity to progress your career overseas, it is also therefore essential that you are able to relocate and commit to a growth strategy and forward thinking business model.
